Year 1 Candidates will need to choose a Confirmation Sponsor and complete a Confirmation Sponsor Worksheet. Likewise, the chosen sponsor will need to submit a Sponsor Form (both the worksheet and the form are contained in the Confirmation folder, handed out at the September Parent Meeting; additional copies are available in the youth office).

Special Note: Parents MAY NOT serve as Confirmation Sponsors for their own children. The Church recognizes the role of a parent as the primary faith teacher, and the sponsor is to serve in the capacity of support for the parent, as well as the confirmation candidate.

A Sponsor Workshop will be held in late fall. Details such as date and time will be forwarded to parents via the weekly Parent Updates.
