Welcome to St Jude's Rainbow Days Preschool. We are excited that you have chosen our program for your child. Rainbow Days was founded over 25 years ago with the idea in mind that as a vibrant community working together, we build strong families and strong faith in God.
Time and again, it is proven that when parents and teachers work together in a community, the children thrive in a learning and loving-rich environment. We rely on parents to become part of the Rainbow Days community by participating in social events, volunteer opportunities and fundraising activities. As we develop a close-knit relationship with each other, our children feel safe and loved, and they feel confident to explore their world and learn new things each day.
Rainbow Days has a community of parents and teachers working together to provide the best possible preschool experience for your child. Your time and support is vital to the success of our program. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved at Rainbow Days and no volunteer is ever turned away. We have all been blessed with special gifts or skills that can contribute in making our program successful and enjoyable for our children.
The opportunities to volunteer are vast. We have something to meet just about every level of time commitment that a parent can contribute. If you want to work directly with the children, plan a classroom party or be a room parent. If you only have time on the weekends, join us for the playground clean-up events and baking for the bake sales. Can you only spare 45 minutes once a month? Then we need you at our monthly parent involvement days helping cut out items for the teachers.
All volunteers that interact with children must complete the Safe Environment program, which includes a criminal background check and a safe environment training program.
