Something for Everyone

St. Jude is a very active, involved family with nearly 1,000 lay volunteers donating their time and talents to the life of this parish. Thanks to their efforts, there is something for everyone at St. Jude. We offer a wide variety of parish programs, from Religious Education for grades 3 through 12 to RCIA. We also offer all the national and diosean programs such as Christ Renews His Parish, M.O.M.S., K of C, LifeTeen and Mission Possible.

We have programs for every age group and every interest. Our Liturgical Ministries also provide an opportunity for involvement in worship, from serving the Altar to raising your voice in song.

Outreach is a substantial part of our parish life. We are one of the founding parishes of the Allen Ministerial Alliance, a local ecumenical organization that meets monthly to address ways to serve our community in Jesus' name. We house the Food Pantry and host a monthly luncheon for Senior Citizens. We are also involved in outreach ministries that have touched our parish life, such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We support all the diocean sponsored outreach programs as well, with monthly pick-ups for Catholic Charities and our annual pledges for CCA have exceeded the diocean goal for St. Jude for the last three years.

There is something for everyone at St. Jude and your participation is both welcomed and encouraged!
