St. Jude hosted the Crossroads Walk "South" team Thursday morning, June 30th, 2011. They are walking accross the US for "PRO-Life".
After mass the Crosswalk team, our priests, our Gospel of Life Team, and our some of our youth met in the activity center for breakfast and community. Kroger came through with very reasonable breakfast burritos. Don Friend was a calm voice in a storm while we were organizing the event. Evelyn Melvin was the producer of this show.
This Crossroads Walk "South" team is a very impressive group of young adults. They walk as a gift and a statement. They attend mass. They pray at abortion centers. They pray while they walk. They are just cool!
Our Mission
The Mission of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee is "to
organize, educate, and mobilize all Catholics in the Dallas
Diocese and North Texas on Pro-Life issues, to effect their
action and to witness to God's intention: the sanctity of
life."
The St. Jude Pro Life Ministry has spiritually adopted
the Northpark Abortion Clinic. Volunteers are needed to
be peacefully and prayerfully present to pray the rosary
during any times between 7:30am-3pm on Saturdays. Please
