Update: Missionaries of Charity

Several projects that have been brought to the Toolbox Ministries attention and it fits well within their ministry. It is an honor to serve the Missionaries of Charity. The projects include:
  • Wheelchair ramp for the main facility. (Will require 32' of ramp along with two platforms that will nominally be 5'x8'.)

  • Construction of a fence to separate the children's play area from air conditioning equipment.

  • Leveling of pavestones in the back yard.

  • Re-installation of clothesline poles that are listing at a 30 degree angle.

  • Installation of hand rails on the front steps of the adjacent convent.

  • A couple of other smaller projects.

As of August 12th all of our projects for the Sisters of The Missionaries of Charity were completed and we appreciated everyone's tireless efforts in less than optimal temperature conditions. Additionally, we want to make sure to pass on the thanks that were expressed by the Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity. They were overjoyed with our efforts and especially appreciative. Each member of the crew on 8/9 received a Mother Teresa medal and laminated card from the Sisters. We have extras for everyone that worked on the project, but were not there that day.
